Campus Safety offers a wide variety of services to the students, faculty/staff, and visitors. The services include:
- General and specific vehicle and foot patrols
- Vehicle battery jump starts*
- Vehicle lockout assists*(most vehicles)
- Transportation of students and staff to vehicles and buildings on campus after nightfall
- Parking, traffic and security planning assistance for special events
- Special needs safety and security watches
- Daily building unlocks and nightly lock services
- Ticketing of vehicles violating SAU parking rules and regulations
- Special event unlocks and lock services
- Response to various calls for service
- Investigation of incidents
- Distribution of University parking permits and material
- Work in conjunction with other University departments in the interest of pro-active safetyand security for all
- Promotion of a safe, secure and harmonious campus environment through information, education and public relations
