Blackboard Intro
Welcome to the Blackboard Introduction for Students. Our goal is to equip you with all the basic knowledge you will need to be successful in an online (or hybrid) environment. The very first thing you will need to know is that SAUonline is Blackboard. Blackboard is a popular online learning technology that enables faculty and students to collaborate from around the world. In order to provide you with a consistent experience, Spring Arbor University has re-branded Blackboard by calling it SAUonline. So, when you hear us talking about SAUonline, we are generally referring to Blackboard.
With that out of the way, please enjoy as you continue this introduction.
How to Use this Introduction
You will be guided through a series of eight pages designed to familiarize you with SAUonline. Read through the first page and then click the link titled “Continue the Blackboard Introduction” at the bottom to continue. Screenshots, like the one to the right of this paragraph, will accompany each part of the introduction. Click the thumbnail version of the example screenshot to see the full version.Then, use your Back button to return to this page.
