Bb 9:  Scholar

Blackboard Scholar® is an educational social bookmarking service that enables students and faculty to store, share, and discover educationally valuable resources on the Web. You can bookmark your favorite Web sites and classify them with tags. These bookmarks are added to your personal list and the overall repository where others can see them. This enables students and instructors to utilize each other’s bookmarks. At the same time, Scholar provides anytime, anywhere access to your bookmarks.

In addition, instructors can take social bookmarking to the next level by creating a Scholar Course Home page just for their courses. Each course in Blackboard Learn can have its own Scholar Course Home page. Scholar Course Home is similar to an individual’s My Scholar Home, except it is accessible by all members of the course. Instructors can add dynamic and current resources, as well as let students add bookmarks.  The following PDF downloads will help you get started with understanding how create and manage these.  Choose from the following tutorials:
