Welcome to December. For some, it’s a time to finish strong for an extended time off. For others, it’s looking forward to Christmas with family and friends. Students aren’t the only ones looking forward to Christmas! In the Office of Academic Technology, we’re planning and testing tools that offer new and exciting possibilities for faculty.
We’ve Something for Your Stocking
Our Christmas present to you are two recording studios: a video recording studio, and an audio recording studio. Use these new resources for developing rich media content for your courses or your professional portfolio. The studios are located in the lower level of Dietzman Hall, A/V office, just down the hall from the Computer Repair Center.
Want to try podcasting? You can do so in quiet privacy. Want to explore video recording? We have everything set up and ready to go!
You are invited to our open house for all faculty Tuesday, December 11, from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. Come and go at your convenience. We will provide snacks, and offer a series of brief presentations on using the new equipment. Please stop by and consider the new possibilities! No need to RSVP. We hope to see you there. If you don’t know where to go, follow the signs in Dietzman Hall or check with the Help Desk.
