Research Questons

Blended Learning/Co-teaching Grant

I am not certain at this point if this blog will look at a possible research design, or if it will provide a forum for instructors to discuss opportunities for blended learning in a co-taught environment.

Possible research questions

As we begin to look at creating a research design, one of the first elements we look are are possible research questions.  Here are some ideas.

Do students prefer a blended learning course environment or a F2F learning environment?

Do students prefer a co-taught class as compared to one taught by a single instructor?

Do students feel that there is better instruction in a co-taught classroom that takes place in a blended learning environment?

Do students have a higher satisfaction rate in a co-taught classroom that takes place in a blended learning format?

Do the instructors feel there is better planning in a co-taught classroom which takes place in a blended learning format?

Do students understand the value of co-teaching after experiencing the various models in a blended learning format?

Can a blended learning format be an effective way to introduce co-teaching both F2F and online?

Based upon the blogging information developed in this co-taught/blending learning course, would other instructors be willing to adapt a class to this format?

Does co-teaching lend itself to working in the online portion of the blended learning course?

Which activities in the course did students believe were enhanced by co-teaching?

Which activities in the course did students believe would be better served in a F2F session?

Which activities in the course did students believe would be better served in an online session?
