Finding journal articles and other materials involves searching computer databases. Spring Arbor University subscribes to several online databases, which can be accessed through the alphabetical listing of database links below.

When accessing the resources from outside the Spring Arbor University campus, users will need to use their mySAU login and password. When an item is not available full-text, it can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan.

Accounting & Tax (ProQuest) Includes journal articles, dissertations, working papers and newspapers. This is the quintessential accountant’s database. It brings together highly ranked global and scholarly journals with key resources for locating quick and precise results covering current news and topics, as well as the trends and history influencing important accounting and tax issues of the day.

Banking Information Source This database enables you to search essential banking industry publications for information about the financial services industry, banking and industry trends.

Biography and Genealogy Master Index (Gale InfoTrac) Biography and Genealogy Master Index enables users to locate biographical entries contained in more than 1,000 volumes and editions of important current and retrospective biographical reference sources. This index contains citations that point to over 15 million biographies on nearly 5 million people, living and deceased, from all time periods, geographical locations, and fields of endeavor.

Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.

Designed to meet the needs of researchers at health-care facilities as well as students enrolled in nursing and allied health programs at academic institutions.

Nursing Resource Center  Designed for nursing students, the Nursing Resource Center brings together in an easy-to-use interface disease and drug overviews, care plans, relevant journal results and animated anatomy and physiology diagrams to complement the core encyclopedia texts. The information is written in accessible language for students completing class assignments and preparing for clinicals as they learn how to care for and treat patients. Physical Education Index (ProQuest) These abstracts feature a wide variety of content, ranging from physical education curricula, to sports medicine, to dance. Other coverage includes sport law, kinesiology, motor learning, recreation, standardized fitness tests, sports equipment, business and marketing, coaching and training, and sport sociology/psychology. Health education and physical therapy are also covered as they continue to become more prevalent in our society.

PILOTS This bibliographic database, covering the Published International Literature On Traumatic Stress, is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It provides citations and abstracts to the international literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events.

Popular Magazines  Popular Magazines includes more than 1,000 of the most searched magazines across our InfoTrac products. ProQuest Asian Business & Reference  This database focuses on business and financial news from the eastern hemisphere. It covers Asian business and financial information from key international publications.

ProQuest Biological Science Collection The collection contains biological science related full-text articles, granular access to figures and tables within articles, and the entire range of bibliographic records from Biological Sciences database.
