November 15 Paul Patton welcome students and faculty to an evening of celebration. Students were presented with awards and speakers shared advice in the art of public speaking.
Becky Veydt (Professor and head of the Forensics and Debate team), Adam Davidson (On-Air Talent at Home.fm), and Rick Morgan (Director of Development and Recruitment of Michindoh Conference Center) shared their insight and told the students to shape their craft, never be satisfied with their skill level, and pursue wisdom.
Student Heather Lamb, a member of the Forensics and Debate team, presented a competitive oral piece about dinosaurs. Lamb encouraged the audience to consider joining the team.
