  • CINAHL Complete (EBSCO) – Definitive database for nursing and allied health research. Contains full text access to more than 1,300 indexed journals.
  • MEDLINE with Full Text (EBSCO) – Biomedical database that indexes more than 5,600 biomedical journals and provides full-text for more than 1,400 journals.  Contains many unique titles not contained in our other subscription databases.
  • Nursing & Allied Health Source (ProQuest) Find complete, full-text information from leading nursing, allied health, and related publications. Designed to meet the needs of researchers at health-care facilities as well as students enrolled in nursing and allied health programs at academic institutions. This database includes Evidence-Based Resources from the Joanna Briggs Institute — Systematic Reviews, Evidence Summaries, and Best Practice Information Sheets for nursing and the allied health professions.
  • UpToDate (Wolters Kluwer) – This resource is a point-of-care clinical decision tool that gives both researchers and practitioners access to a wealth of evidence-based information in the form of topic reviews from 24 medical specialties.

  • MedlinePlus (NIH) This database, compiled by the National Institutes of Health, provides resources on a number of health topics as well as information on drugs and supplements. For informational purposes only.
  • Nursing and Allied Health Collection (Gale)
  • Nursing Resource Center (Gale) Designed for nursing students, the Nursing Resource Center brings together in an easy-to-use interface disease and drug overviews, care plans, relevant journal results and animated anatomy and physiology diagrams to complement the core encyclopedia texts. The information is written in accessible language for students completing class assignments and preparing for clinicals as they learn how to care for and treat patients. Search results are returned in tabs that correspond to steps in the nursing process.
  • PMC (PubMed Central) (NIH)- A free archive of life science journals from the National Institues of Health (NIH)
  • Ovid– A small set of full-text nursing journals. It includes a current subscription to the Journal of Christian Nursing, as well as some back issues of Nurse Educator, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Research, Nursing Administration Quarterly, Home Healthcare Nurse, and JONA’s Healthcare Law, Ethics, & Regulation.
