Carrie Jones-Barber is the Chief Executive Officer of Jackson, MI-based Dawn Foods. Sharing CEO responsibilities with Serhat Unsal, Carrie uses her intimate knowledge of the bakery industry to help drive greater growth and success for Dawn, while ensuring the organization retains a strong focus on people, products, customers and sustainable growth.
Carrie has been with Dawn for 30 years. Her intimate knowledge of the bakery industry has been acquired through roles in sales, information technology, strategy and international business. As President of Dawn International she was responsible for delivering unprecedented growth and profitability to the company’s international operations. In 2006, Carrie became the CEO of Dawn Foods. She has introduced global strategic planning processes that have seen the company generate close to $2bn in revenues. She oversaw the company’s largest acquisition to date and has expanded the reach of the company to more than 106 countries.
Carrie graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in business management and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a Board Member at Land O’Frost and a member of the Committee of 200, a membership organization including the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate innovators.
